I think we’ve figured out who runs this family. This little one is the center of her two loving parent’s universe. She’s super cute and smart as a whip. And one thing is for sure, she has no problem delivering those precious moments that they will all remember for a lifetime.

Most Unexpected
Imagine, the gloomiest fall Saturday morning. The kind of morning when it’s cold and pouring rain. You have a large group grandparent portrait session in the afternoon. But you can’t reschedule cause it’s prob the only time all of these people can get together and make it happen. So what do you do. Pray? Well, lucky for me. My prayers this day were answered. As I was driving to meet this family, the rain lessened, the clouds started to lift and the family waiting on the other end couldn’t have been any more welcoming and fun! They actually were excited to jump in the giant pile of wet leaves and I to be honest I was excited too!. I think these images say it all.
A portrait for a writer
Telling the story of a storyteller, where does a photographer begin? I was happy to capture this writer’s portrait in her cozy little corner of the world where she can sit and create.
The Perfect Fall
In this one little guys case, it’s not just the perfect Fall but the perfect jump, the perfect toss, and the perfect time to not stand still. I love when little kids bring me energy. I was doing a lot of running and rolling in the leaves for this one, but I loved every minute of it and the results where wonderful. See for yourself.
The Colder, The Better?
Yes, this brother may be upset form the cold but that split second of being warmed by your sisters really does make for the most real moment you can capture on camera. Those moments are the best, moments to grab and hold on it. I will admit, I’ve had some cold photoshoot days this fall. This shoot may have been one of the coldest. But just because it was cold didn’t mean we weren’t able to have fun and capture some great images. The cold forces jumping, climbing and running around to stay warm. It forces a break inside for smiles. And always my favorite it forces cuddles and real warmth.
